At Blue Basin Aquatics, the health and safety of our livestock is our top priority. Please review our shipping policy carefully before placing an order.

🚚 Shipping Locations

We currently ship live corals and livestock to the contiguous United States (Lower 48 states) only.

We do not ship to:

Alaska

Hawaii

Puerto Rico

U.S. territories

Orders placed outside the Lower 48 will not be eligible for shipping at this time.

💲 Shipping Rates

Orders under $300.00

→ A $45.00 Flat-rate Live Coral Shipping will be applied at checkout.

Orders $300.00.00 and over

→ FREE Live Coral Shipping (automatically applied — no promo code required).

Shipping rates are based on live coral handling, insulated packaging, and priority transit to ensure safe arrival.

📅 Shipping Days

We ship Monday through Wednesday only.

Orders placed after Wednesday will ship the following Monday

If Monday is a public holiday, orders will ship on Tuesday

This schedule helps avoid weekend delays and reduces stress on live animals.

🌡️ Weather & Delays

Shipping live corals is weather-dependent.

We reserve the right to delay shipping due to:

Extreme heat or cold

Severe weather conditions

Customers will be notified if a delay is necessary to ensure livestock safety.

📬 Delivery Requirements

Someone must be available to receive the package on the delivery date.

Packages left unattended, exposed to extreme temperatures, or delayed due to incorrect address information may void any arrival guarantees.
